Of recent there has been increased interest in the possibilities of using essential oils. This interest has coincided with the belief that there have to be alternatives to the dominant medication approach which has been used by healthcare professionals as the go-to solution for any ailments.



Essential oils are also perceived to be part of a wider campaign of health promotion and preventative measures which keep people away from hospitals. So what is an essential oil? Perhaps the easiest way to define it is to consider how the essential oils are made.



First we identify an aroma that is made up of a range of complex and volatile compounds. These are then placed in a hydrophobic liquid which acts as a carrier. The compounds that are used are typically derived from natural plants. Some literature revers to aetherolea which is an extract from a given unit of flora.

If you discover the term "ethereal oil" do not get confused because it is merely a technical way of saying essential oil. The list of plants from which essential oils can be extracted is virtually endless. For example you can get it from a clove of garlic or stem of thyme.

The term "essence" is not just about the utility of the final product but also the production process. In this case you are capturing the essence or core element of a plant and then carrying it to the human body using an intermediary element. The fragrance is very important and the expectation is that it will broadly reflect what the plant smells like in its natural environment.

You could say they're angel of abundance cards since they bring the wealth and abundance of God's love for us through His angels. They're true angel magick and a great companion on our spiritual journey.

This angel wealth left me wondering if I could make a book out of my angel card deck, and that's how this book came about. I pray it acts as an angel of manifestation book, revealing the angelic presence of which so many people stand in need. When we experience our guardian angels close to us we immediately feel relieved and comforted. This is angel healing in action.

This spiritual angel book is comprised of some of the verses from my own card deck as previously said, and, to help you focus on them better, I added little reflections after each one. This book is a follow-on from Book 1 in this series. It's always fun to follow up another book with something similar in a Series. There is always so much to research in this popular area of health and exercise. It seems that mostly everyone wants to look good and to feel good about themselves, however, we often come across some in our own circle of influence who do not appear to care in this particular region.

I have many friends who are at each end of the spectrum. And while I quietly worry about the health of those of my friends who appear to not care, I still love them nonetheless because they all offer me hope through their talents and abilities in other areas of their lives and of course there is also that most important quality that matters above all else - that of love for one another.

In this book of the series, I touch on the excuses that people fall back into as regarding their own health and exercise regimes. Naturally I have solutions to their excuses, but truly at the root of their excuses there is always that nagging feeling inside me that they have feelings of worthlessness and really that is what actually plagues their decisions to come up with the excuses I found that are more prominent than others.

Very sad.

I spend so much time on educating my own mind and retraining my own mind - and sharing the new knowledge is always paramount in my mind, however, not everyone is ready for such new knowledge, and therefore often the sharing turns into another sad rejection sometimes with bitter words that are not easily retractable or even forgotten.

All I can hope is that maybe they might pick up a copy of my book and maybe they will read for themselves what are merely suggestions to help improve their own lives - maybe.

I love life. I love being alive. I love being able to do the many things that I do.

Every day I am grateful that I have the use of my two legs and my two arms - that I can walk unaided, and that I can carry out tasks using both hands.

In saying these things, you will also see that I too have my own failings in some areas and I readily admit them so that you can see that not everyone is perfect. I am far from it of course, and so I can see other points of view even though my common sense tells me to do it the proper way.

But then what is the proper way?

What am I thinking to decide exactly what is the proper way?

Only you as the reader will be able to provide the answer to that question as you go through the excuses, the solutions, the ideas and the reasons for looking after yourself the best way you can and/or know how.

The Roman Catholic Church and Family Planning.: Time for a Change?

This short e book book takes up the much discussed issue of the ban on contraception by the Catholic Church. The author argues not from a theological perch, but from a very practical point of view of a practicing obstetrician and gynecologist that the time is ripe for a change in the teaching of his Church on family planning. The authors points are extensively supported by pertinent references.

The Roman Catholic Church has always been opposed to the use of artificial methods of contraception. Only the so called Natural Methods of Family Planning (also called the Fertility Awareness Methods) are allowed. The author argues that these natural methods are satisfying and effective under ideal circumstances and when practiced by educated and dedicated couples. However under less than ideal circumstances, especially in developing countries and for those people living under dismal and dangerous conditions, the natural methods have a high and unacceptable failure rate. There are many effective methods of contraception available but they are banned by the Catholic Church. The author is a practicing obstetrician and gynecologist with broad cross cultural experience. He argues not from a theological perspective but from his practical viewpoint and experience that the time is overdue for the Catholic Church to change its teaching and allow the use of artifice methods family planning.

He also argues that in the Western World this issue may seem "passe" as many catholics have already decided to ignore their Church's directive and are waiting for the hierarchy to catch up. Theologians and practicing catholics in the Western World have no longer an interest in pressing the hierarchy of their Church for a change. That seems a selfish attitude as in developing countries and for millions of people living under dismal and dangerous conditions, making up their own minds and ignoring the teaching of their Church about Family Planning, or alternatively to go elsewhere is not an option.This exposes them to unplanned pregnancies with all its consequences.

The author opines that therefor the issue is not passe and that a continuing effort by catholics everywhere is a must, to hopefully pressure the Church's Hierarchy to come around, change the teaching of the Church about Family Planning and allow effective and safe methods of contraception. Such a decision by the Church would benefit everyone, but especially those catholics around the world who may have no other option than to follow the official teaching of their Church as it pertains to planning their families.
